New PCS Set to Enhance Efficiency at Port of Port-of-Spain
The Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago is poised to launch a new Port Community System (PCS) aimed at improving operational efficiencies.

What is a PCS -Port Community System ?
A Port Community System (PCS) is a neutral electronic platform that connects various border clearance IT systems utilized by different stakeholders involved in the logistics chain.
By integrating systems such as ASYCUDA (used by the Customs and Excise Division), NAVIS (used by the ports), and TTBizLink (utilized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry), the PCS will facilitate intelligent and secure information exchange along the supply chain.
This centralized platform allows for the automation, management, and optimization of port logistics processes through the single submission of data.
